1. ABOUT TRUENORTH HOMEXPERTS

The availability and scope of services may vary depending on the project, property, location, scheduling availability, applicable laws, licensing requirements, and other circumstances.

Submission of an inquiry or estimate request does not guarantee that TrueNorth HomeXperts will accept or perform a project.

  • Previously concealed conditions are discovered

  • Information originally provided is incomplete or inaccurate

  • Materials, quantities, or specifications change

  • Additional labor or materials become necessary

  • Site conditions differ materially from what was reasonably anticipated

When practical, material changes to scope or price will be communicated before additional work proceeds.

Applicable taxes, fees, materials, permits, disposal costs, or other project expenses may be charged when appropriate and disclosed as applicable.

5. PROJECT SCOPE & CHANGES

TrueNorth HomeXperts will perform only the work agreed upon for a particular project.

Requests for additional work may require:

  • Additional pricing

  • Additional materials

  • Additional time

  • Rescheduling

  • A revised estimate or work authorization

Customers should not assume that work not specifically included in an agreed scope is included in the original price.

6. SCHEDULING & PROPERTY ACCESS

Appointment times and project schedules are provided in good faith. Circumstances such as weather, material availability, traffic, previous appointments, unexpected project conditions, emergencies, or other events may affect scheduling.

Customers are responsible for providing reasonable and safe access to the property and work area at the scheduled time.

The work area should be reasonably clear of personal belongings, pets, hazards, or other obstacles that could interfere with safe and efficient completion of the work.

7. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

We understand that plans change. Customers should provide as much notice as reasonably possible when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment.

TrueNorth HomeXperts may establish cancellation, rescheduling, deposit, or service-call policies for particular appointments or projects. Any applicable charges or requirements will be disclosed when appropriate.

We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel work when circumstances make it unsafe, unlawful, impractical, or unreasonable to proceed.

8. MATERIALS & CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED PRODUCTS

Projects may involve materials supplied by TrueNorth HomeXperts, the customer, or both.

When a customer supplies a product, fixture, hardware, furniture item, appliance, mounting system, or other material, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the item is appropriate for its intended use and includes the necessary components unless otherwise agreed.

TrueNorth HomeXperts is not responsible for manufacturer defects, missing components, inaccurate manufacturer instructions, product incompatibility, or failures caused by customer-supplied products.

If an item cannot reasonably or safely be installed as intended, we may recommend an alternative or decline to install it.

9. EXISTING & CONCEALED CONDITIONS

Home repair and improvement work sometimes reveals conditions that were not visible or reasonably identifiable before work began.

These may include water damage, deterioration, improper prior installations, structural issues, hidden wiring or plumbing, mold or suspected hazardous materials, pest damage, code concerns, or other concealed conditions.

TrueNorth HomeXperts may pause work when an unexpected condition affects safety, scope, cost, or the appropriate method of completing the project.

Additional work required because of previously unknown conditions is not automatically included in the original scope or price.

10. PERMITS & LICENSED TRADE WORK

Certain projects may require permits, inspections, licensed trade professionals, or work outside the scope of services offered by TrueNorth HomeXperts.

TrueNorth HomeXperts reserves the right to decline, limit, pause, or refer work when a project requires specialized licensing, permitting, engineering, inspection, or other professional services.

Nothing on this website should be interpreted as representing that TrueNorth HomeXperts performs work requiring a professional or trade license where such licensing is required and not held.

11. SAFETY

Safety is important to every project.

TrueNorth HomeXperts may refuse or discontinue work when conditions are unsafe, unlawful, outside the agreed scope, or reasonably likely to create an unacceptable risk to people or property.

Customers should disclose known hazards or unusual property conditions that could reasonably affect the work.

12. PAYMENT

Payment terms may vary depending on the project and will be communicated through the applicable estimate, invoice, work order, service agreement, or other documentation.

Customers are responsible for paying amounts properly due for authorized work, materials, fees, taxes, and other agreed charges.

Deposits or advance payments may be required for certain projects, materials, or scheduled work.

13. WORKMANSHIP & WARRANTIES

TrueNorth HomeXperts strives to provide professional, careful workmanship.

Any specific workmanship warranty applicable to a project will be described in the relevant estimate, invoice, service agreement, or warranty documentation.

Manufacturer warranties for products or materials are provided by the applicable manufacturer and are subject to that manufacturer's terms.

Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated in writing, no additional warranty is created solely by information appearing on this website.

14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TrueNorth HomeXperts will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of this website or services.
